GRANT REINSTATED.
WOMEN'S PROTECTION SOCIETY. ANNOUNCEMENT BY MINISTER. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. As the result of strong representations by Mr. G. C. Munns, M.P. for Roskill, the Minister of Internal Affairs has decided to reinstate on the Supplementary Estimates a grant of £100 for the Auckland branch of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children.
