An, inquest I ,' Was. held.'to-day concerning -the deaths' of ; Joseph Alfred Baiiks and Cicely Mabel-Grigg-as the result of a' collision" between their motor > cycle and .a: car Mriveii by" J.M. Gamble- at Heretaunga on" tlie.niglit of: September^. Gamble, according' to one -witness, liad stated that: lie ;was following another vehicle which seenied to stop and he, pulled: out to,avoid running into it and thought lie ; struck something. Other evidence showed that after the crasli Gamble's car ran ; . into the store; ""doing considerable- damage. The coroner found that , the deaths ; were the result of l r aycollision : between tlie; motor cycle and the car driven by Gamble.
