WELLINGTON, Thursday. "It is not necessary for the Court to express an opinion as to the conduct of the driver," said the coroner, Mr. -J. S. Barton, SAL, to-day,, ax an inquest concerning the death of John Mclnnes. wharf labourer, died on September 7" as the result o: injuries received through being struck by a motor car in '■ Jerrois Quay on August 10. Sab-Inspec-tor Lopdeil said the driver of the .car ] had not been found. After evidence had been heard the j coroner returned a verdict that deceasedj died from head injuries, including lacerations of the brain, received through being knocked down by a motor car in Jervois Quay, the driver of the car being unknown.
