STORMS ON COAST. ULIMAROA SAILED. ! . / ' ■■ v'■ \ ; /' ' Very heavy weather is being experienced on the coast. The Kiwitea, which left Auckland for Westport on Monday, is returning' for repairs, while the Ruapehu and Wingatui, en route from Wellington, are both delayed. The Kuapehu now expects to arrive late to-night, but the Wingatui will not be here until tomorrow. The Ixaponga, en route from Melbourne, is also arriving to-morrow, a day behind schedule. While inward-bound vessels, are delayed, -there is little activity 011 jlie waterfront. The Ulimaroa was dispatched this morning with passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney and the only steamer working to-day jis the Kaimiro, which is recommissioning for the Australian trade. :•

CARRISO'S BERTH. A berth at the Prince's wharf has been allotted to the motor ship Carriso, which Is due at Auckland from Anacortes next Tuesday. KARTIGI REPLACES KAIMANAWA. The Union Co. advises that the steamer Kartigi is to load for Auckland at Westport on Monday next in place of the Kaimanawa. KIWITEA RETURNING. • A radio from the Union Co.'s steamer Kiwitca, which left Auckland for Westporr on Monday evening, states that she has encountered a heavy gale and is returning to Auckland to repair a leaking tank. She is due hero at 4 p.m. to-day and Will berth at the King's wharf. . > ■

On her return trip to •Sydney; .the IJuddart Parker passenger steamer Ulimaroa left Auckland this morning. She is due at- Sydney next Tuesday morning, and leaves there for Wellington the following Friday. KAIMIRO FOR AUSTRALIA. The Union Co.'s steamer Kaimiro, which has been laid up at Auckland, berthed at the King's wharf this morning to recon mission. She is to sail at 5 p.m. to-aay for Greymouth, thence Hobart, ] Melbourne arid Devonport, to load for Auckland, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Bluff, in place of the K'drtigi.

RUAPEHU TO-NIGHT. Due from Wellington at 10 p.m. to-day, the New Zealand Shipping Co. s ( steamei Ruapehu will berth at the Queen s whaif to complete discharge of her general, cargo from London and commence b ol| icwaul loading. From here she is to go to Napier, Lvttelton and Wellington to fill up, sai - ing finally for London from the last-named port on October 7. NIAGARA LEFT SYDNEY. Cabled advice from Sydney confirms the departure from there at 5 p.m. yesterday of the Union Co.'s L.M.B. Niagara foi Vancouver, via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Auckland next .Monday morning, berthing at the Prince s wharf. and is announced to resume hei voyage to Vancouver at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. HERTFORD REPORTS. According to her wireless report, the Federal steamer Hertford will arrive at Auckland from Liverpool at daybreal. next Wednesday. She will discharge tliw local portion of her cargo at the Queen s wharf, and. the remainder at Napiei, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Now Plymouth. '

UNION CO'S STEAMERS. The Waimea left Gisborne at 9 a.m. to-day for Napier and Auckland. The Karetu leaves Lyttelton to-day for Auckland, Newcastle and Sydney. The Wingatui is due from the South to-morrow morning and will berth at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail again on Monday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Duuedin, .Bluff and Timaru. The Karepo leaves Portland to-morrow for Wellington. She is announced to load at Dunedin about September 26, for Auckland, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kaimai left Greymouth for Hokianga at 6 p.m. yesterday, tfrom -Hokianga she is to return to Greymouth. The Kanna left Greymouth at 6.130 p.in. yesterday for Napier and Auckland, omitting Westport. The Waimarino left Dunedin yesterday afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. • .
