MURDERER UNKNOWN.

LONDON, September 17.

. At the inquest on Miss Agnes Kesson, who was found strangled at Epsom early in June, the jury returned a verdict tb the effect that the girl was murdered, there being insufficient evidence to say by whom.

Miss Agnes Kesson, aged 20, formerly o£ Falkirk; Scotland,.was found dead in a> ditch at Epsom on June 5. The girl had been employed since Christmas at a teashop at Burgh Heath. She was believed to have been a Derby Day visitor to Epsom Downs, and it was thought she w_as murdered about", midnight. The official description circulated by Scotland Yard disclosed' that when found the body was without any skirt or other outer garments. An examination by the pathologist to the Home Office, Sir Bernard Spilsbury, established that the cause of death was strangulation. The police traced the girls movements from the time sbe left the house of hei» employers, Mr. and Mrs. Deats, at Burgh Heath, to the hour at which she was believed to have been murdered. Their inquiries led them to the conclusion that the-girl was taken in a motor cycle and sidecar to the place where the., body was found, and that two men were in the vehicle.
