COMMERCIALS SLIP FURTHER. i There; is no improvement in the local Stock Exchange market, and the last 24 . hours has seen few sales recorded, while ■. buyers, in many instances, are still marking down their limits. In regard to Australian' securities, holders seem weak. ■ Commercial Banks have changed.hands at ' the new low' level of 18/. Goldsbrough, ' Morta were offered at this morning's call for £1 0/9, with no recponse from buyers. Pukemiros were a fraction lower, with _' sellers at £2 12/. Huddart, Parkers were quoted ex div., with sellers of ihe ord. at £1 13/6, and I buyers for the prefs. at 19/5.. After a. sale of New Zealand 'Breweries at £2 8/6 more are offered at the same • figure; The Noon Call. - . •A few sales were finalised during the . morning and recorded at the noon call, but there was no improvement in the ' market tone. Commercial Banks were offered 2d cheaper at 17/10. ' A parcel of War Bonds, 4V 2 (1938) was ; offered-at. £100 7/6, and s%'s, at £99 10/. An offer to sell Amusement Park shares at 2/ brought,a bid of 2d.
