SERIOUS OFFENCE ALLEGED.
On a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged 15 years and eix months, Harold Percival Hedges, a tiler, aged 31, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. Accused pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence and was committed to'the Supreme Court for trial. Bail of £200 wae allowed.
