The junior four (Gates, McCallum, Seagar and Oliver) and medium pair oar, (D. Wnlsh and &. Gardiner) also won the Auckland championship, and the senior four (Dean, Eaton, Seagar and McCallam) were second. In inter-club races all six trophies offered for four-oar competition were annexed by the club, while the eight-oar crew took the Dr. Stuart Keid Cup for .the Jirst time. Large regatta winnings had enabled the club to. keep its plant up-to-date, but the committee was still working on a small overdraft. The active membership, remained steady at 32, but a definite increase in membership was needed to place the club on a sound financial basis.
