AKARANA YACHT CLUB.
On Saturday a pleasant evening was spent in dancing,. and> novelty dances contributed to the enjoyment. The committee ladies were: Mrs.. Webster, in lemon georgette; Miss Hanloh, ecru lace over leaf green. Amongst those present were: Miss E. Boswell, apricot faille taffeta and tulle; Mrs. Hay ward, eau de- nil satin; Miss Craig,, apple green; Miss Bell, apricot embroidered ninon; Miss J. McLeod, pale blue; Miss Mansfield, rose shot.taffeta; Missi- Jf; Fort, Wedgwoocl . blue; • Miss Staccy, pink georgette; Miss.-McLean,- black lace; Miss Wright, red* georgette; Miss W. Dickenson, scarlet-satin and tulle; Miss.Lewis, cream lace-over shell pink satin; 1 Miss Peterson, apricot sprigged taffeta; Miss White, pink satin; Miss D., Wilson, cherry satin; Miss L. Jainiesoit, leaf 'green georgette; Miss F.~ Wilson, black velvet and georgette; Miss Clayson, silver'tissue and' blue; Miss B. Dickenson, silver ring /velvet and shell pink georgette; Miss L. Appleton, mauve organdie over satiii; Miss B. White, rose georgette; Miss W. Jackson, pale pink brocaded georgette; Mrs. Kirk, pink moire ring velvet and embossed georgette; Mrs. Cook, beige.
