OLD FOLKS' DAY.

AT BAPTIST TABERNACLE. "Old Folks' Day" was held at the Baptist Tabernacle on Saturday, when several hundred of aged people were conveyed by motor cars to and from their homes. The gathering was in connection with the 75th anniversary of the starting of a Baptist Cluirch in Auckland. Musical iteriis were given by the choir and the guests were provided with afternoon tea. A large birthday cake was cut by Mrs. Dewar, aged 96 years, and bouquets were presented to several of the oldest present. The Rev. C. Dallaston addressed the gathering.
