TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS.

ELDERLY MAN KNOCKED \ DOWN. - YOUNG CYCLIST INJURED. Concussion was suffered by an elderly man, Mr. Frank Ward, aged G6, residing at 146, Hobson Street, when lie was knocked down by a taxi at the intersection of Wesiey Street West and Vincent Street on Saturday evening. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and is in a satisfactory condition. A cyclist, Harry Munce, aged 15, of 27, Balmain Road, Birkenhead, liurt his back and received internal injuries when his machine ran into a post at the side of the road near his home last evening. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and is in a fairly satisfactory condition. The hospital authorities report a slight improvement in the condition of Mr. Tracey Greenwood, aged 26, of 4, Vermont Street, Ponsonby; who was seriously injured when he was knocked down by a motor car in Ponsonby Road last Wednesday. .
