- Three overseas vessels arrived at • Auckland yesterday. The Yarraville has ! KAPONGA COMING. The local office of the Union Company has received advice that the steamer Kapouga was dispatched from Melbourne at 4 p.m. last Friday with general cargo for Auckland, Portland, New Plymouth and Wellington. YARRAVILLE DISCHARGING. An arrival at Auckland yesterday was the Vacuum Oil Co.'s tanXer Yarravillc, with bulk motor spirit from San Francisco. She is discharging the local portion of her cargo at the Western wharf, and is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Sydney and Brisbane to put out the remainder. OIL FROM THE EAST. With bulk oil from the Dutch .East Indies for the Shell Company, the ianker Acosta left Tarakan on September S for Auckland and Wellington, and the Planorvis left Singapore for Wellington on September 8. The Acosta is due at Auckland on 'September 30, and the rianorvis is due at Wellington on September 29. AORANGI AT VANCOUVER. Cabled advice from Vancouver confirms the arrival there at 11 p.m. last Thursday of the Union Company's R.M.m.s. Aorangi, from Sydney, via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu. She is to leave Vancouver again on Wednesday next, and is due at Auckland on October '5. NIAGARA AT SYDNEY. From Vancouver, via Honolulu, Suva and Auckland, the Union Company's R.M.s. Niagara arrived at Sydney at 9 a.m. Saturday, having been delayed several hoijrs by rough weather. On her return voyage to Vancvouver she is to leave Sydney next Thursday, and Auckland the following Tuesday, arriving at Vancouver' on Octobcr 10. i - FERNWOOD IN PORT. To the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., the Norwegian motor ship Fernwood arrived at Auckland yesterday with asphalt from Tampico and general cargo from New Orleans. The Feruwood sailed from Tampico on August 14, and passed through the Panama Canal a week later. Until she neared the New Zealand coast, line weather prevailed. She is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Wanganui and Australian ports to complete disharge. THE CANADIAN LEADER. A day and a half behind schedule, as a result of adverse weather, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Leader arrived at Auckland from Montreal last night, and is discharging the local portion of her cargo at the Prince's wharf. She sailed from Montreal on July 31, and passed through the Panama Canal on August 15. Strong south-west winds were encountered on September 1 and continued until the vessel reached port. The vessel is expected to sail late to-night or early to-morrow morning for Brisbane. Sydney,■' Melbourne and Adelaide to complete discharge. UNION COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS. V The Wingatui leaves Lyttelton this afternoon, and Wellington to-morrow, for Auckland. After discharge here she is to return to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Timaru, and possibly Bluff. The Kanna leaves Lyttelton to-day for Greymouth and Westport to load for Napier and Auckland. The Kaimanawa is due at Westport about Thursday next to load for Auckland. The Kiwitea shifted from the Western wharf to the King's wharf at mid-day today. and is to sail at S p.m. for Westport.
