• SYDNEY, (September 14. The wholesale price of butter will be reduced to-morrow by %d to l/5Vz per lb. The retail price will probably be 1/8 or 1/8%. - - The price of butter for home consumption in Australia is kept well above export parity as the result of the operation of the Paterson' bounty scheme, which subsidises butter shipped away to the extent of per lb.
