PAKURANGA HUNT.

POINT-TO-POINT MEETING. ' SMALL FIELDS ENGAGED. The Pakuranga Hunt Club's point-to-point steeplechase was held on Saturday at Flat Bash, East Tainaki. The events were run. over the properties of Messrs. G. Gillard, J. Landon. N. Matthews, Stonex Bros, and W. C. Watt?. There was a good, attendance, -visitors being present from all parts of the district. A' regrettable feature was the small fields' that contested several of; the races. However, the meeting was an enjoyable one and was well conducted. ■The following are the results: — MEMBERS' LIGHT-WEIGHT.-Three miles. Weight, 11.0. SYLVIA—G. Thorburn 1 TAMAKI BOY—J. Short - PEER KOSA—N. B. Fox Won by 100' yards. MEMBERS' HEAVY-WEIGHT. Three miles. Weight, 12.7. TOMBOY—L." Bellingham 1 MASTER Chamberlain z TRIMMER—G. Tliorburn >3 ..Won by a good, margin.
