NATIVE RATES.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Friday. ; A native rates conference, afc. which all the North Auckland County Councils will be. represented, takes place at Kaikohe on October 24, and Sir Apirana Ngata, , Minister of Native Affairs, who is chairman of the Native Consolidatier* Board, has agreed that the consolidation officers, shall attend the conference.
