HOCKEY.
LADIES' ASSOCIATION. . SENIOR MATCHES COMPLETED. At a meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association executive, Miss P ' jf Dawson presiding, it was reported that Kiwi Club were travelling to Kerepeehi on Saturday next for a game with the Kerepeelii Club and that Papatoetoe Club were also travelling to Kerepeehi on the same date for a game with Hikutaia Club It was decided to permit the association's A.G.A.A. sports team to change its uniform as required by the A.G.A.A. The following regradings were confirmed:— Mount Eden Club: Misses A. Gordon R Blair and Hazel Clarke from junior grade to senior grade. Wesley Club: Miss L. Cullum from junior grade to senior grade Technical Old Girls' Club: Miss J. Seemlier from junior B to junior A. Somerville Club: Misses R. Crewther and A. Coiipland from junior grade to senior grade. The Y.W.C.A. Club were given permission to arrange a game with a team belonging to the Waikato Association if practicable Permission was given for the following friendly matches to be played off on' September i 3 : —Clevedon v. Wesley A, Ngatjringa v. Y.W.C.A. Juniors, and for a game between Kiwi and Papatoetoe on September 20.
It was decided that the form of presentation of trophies should be a social evening. The senior grade club championships were said to be terminated, and the following summary of points in connection therewith was accepted as correct :^— Wesley 23 championship points. Mount Edep 20 Kiwi 15, Somerville 10, " Clevedoh 8 Y.W.C.A. 5, Papatoetoe 4.
