JUVENILE PARADE.
TWO-YEAR-OLDS SPRINT A QUARTER. (By Telegraph.— Special to "Star.") WANGANUI, this day. Sixteen juveniles took part in the two-year-old parade at Wanganui this afternoon, seven lining up for the first division. They were started from the quarter-mile post. Sailing turned round when the barrier lifted' for the first division and took no part in the race Bcila led into the straight from Curio impetuous and Type and went on to win by half a length from Impetuous, who beat Leila by about a length. Then came r l ype, Actaeon and Richborou^h In. the second division ten took part, Sailing taking her place in this division. Chief Clerk was slow to move, Sailing jumping off well and going on to winall the way by a couple of lengths. Gibraltar was second, a head in front of All Humbug, Chief Clerk being next.
