PEDESTRIANS INJURED.
KNOCKED DOWN BY CARS
Head injuries and a fracture of the ankle were suffered by Mr. Philip Hodgson, of 16, Dean Street, Grey Lynn, when he was knocked down by a motor ear at the corner of Richmond Avenue and Baildon Road, Grey Lynn, on Saturday evening. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and is reported to be progressing favourably. Knocked down by a motor car in Customs Street shortly after six o'clock on Saturday evening. Mr. Thomas Russell, aged 39. of 17, Princes Street, Onehunga, received a fracture of the right leg, and was taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is satisfactory.
