GISBORNE, this day.
At the Gisborne stock sale fat sheep again advanced, ewes making 16/9 to 20/ and second-grade ewes 15/6 to 17/6. Fat cows realised up to £8 5/. Store sheep were a small entry and last sale's advance was not fully maintained. Hoggets, best, 16/1, 15/6, fairly good to 14/9; empty ewes, young 15/9, fresh condition 11/, average 9/6; wethers to 18/6; ewes, with hundred per cent lambs, good 21/, moderate 18/6.
