I ; Proposal to Borrow, under authority, of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, the sum of Twenty Thousand Pounds . (£20,000) . for the purposes of a water supply. _ ', Notice is hereby given, pursuant to SeCr tion 10 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, that the Body Corporate, the Inhabitants of the Mount Wellington Road District, in exercise of its powers uuder the above-mentioned Act and of Sections 146, 147 and 148 of the Road Boards Act,. 190S, and of an Order in Council appearing in the "N.Z. Gazette" of 16th February, 1925: and of all other authorities, it thereunto, enabling, proposes, to raise a Loan of Twenty Thousand Pounds (£20,000). The purposes of the proposed loan are for providing a water supply within the Mount Wellington Road District, including the laying of a main not less than six (6)) inches in'diameter down the Mount Wellington Highway from the Waipuna Road to the New Brighton Cross Road. . The term of the. loan is to be thirty years: for the repayment of the Loan a Sinking Fund of £1 10/ per centum per annum, calculated on the amount raised, is to be provided. The proposed security for the repayment of the loan and-the interest thereon will be a Special Rate of Seven-sixteenths of one penny in the Pound (£1) upon the ratable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all ratable'property within the Mount Wellington Road District. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan, but not the interest or Sinking Fund for the first year. A Poll of Ratepayers of the Mount Wellington Road District will be taken on the proposal on TUESDAY, the 16th day of September. 1930, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. .
