ANNUAL APPEAL IN CITY.

Many badges bearing the names of the Navy and the Victoria Leagues were in evidence in the city to-day, when , the combined leagues made their annual appeal for funds. Those who give money receive either a bunch of flowers or a badge, ae they may desire. Those in charge of Daffodil. Day devote half of the amount collected to various deserving institutions in the city. This year the Boy Scouts are helping in the appeal, and a portion of the funds will be given to them.
