CORRESPONDENTS' PROBLEMS.

PRESERVING DUCK EGGS,

"Malcolm s, .—Duck eggs can be preserved, but there is a greater percentage of loss than in hen eggs so treated. I have, found in preserving duck €ggs that a fair , number burst. Do not put down duck and hen eggs mixed, and, if possible, use several containers with small quantities in each. . I used the usual liquid egg preservative made by New Zealand manufacturers, which had proved so successful in preserving hen eggs. Your storekeeper will be able to supply you with a standard liquid egg preservative in suitable quantities. Pull directions for use are to be found on the containers.
