SAVINGS OF WAGE EARNERS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
DUNEDIN, this day.

Another cheering assurance comes from the manager of the Dunedin Savings Bank. He says that as a rule there is; a falling off in deposits by persons. of moderate incomes in the month of May, but this year deposits from workers have been steadily received from May right on to,the present,.whilst withdrawals by wage-earners have certainly not exceeded the average/ '. , ; ■ \. •• ;
