A motor car owned by Mr, J. Hook, of Auckland, was slightly damaged by lire at Tamaki early yesterday morning. The car had just been housed in a, private garage- when the horn, was sounded. The drivei', thinking an attempt was being made to remove the vehicle, ran out of j the house-" and found the car on Jire. Tire outbreak was quickly put out by the-. Tarnr.ki Brigade.
