The weather was damp and the track heavy for the Victoria Amateur Turf Club's Australian steeplechase meeting at Caulfield yesterday. Results:— AUSTRALIAN ' STEEPDECHASE of 2100sovs. About three miles and a halt. GOOD WHISKY, blk g, aged, by Gloria Seal—Miss Chainman (Mr. F. P. Barns), 9.3—Hobson ••••••• •••• •• • a ORANGE PARK, ch g, aged , , by VHlliam of Orange—Florrie Park (Mr. P. Noel), o.7—Butler ••• •• • z BANG BANG, b g,. aged, by Two Shot— Gwenda (Mr. M. Irwin), 9.s—Winks . 3 Ten started. Bang Bang established a handy lead, with Hungarian* Adit Kentle, Orange Park, Johnny Cake and Good Whisky as his nearest attendants. Gentle pulled up seven furlongs from home. Good Whisky passed Bang, Bang at the mefurlong post and coming mto the stiaigiu strongly won comfortably by four eng hs from Orange Park, who wag five lengths ahead of Bang Bang, While -George William was fourth. Then came Hungarian, Namera and Adit tailed off. Time, 7.7|. ARKAKINGA HURDLES of Two miles one furlong Co yaids. TIKI (New Zealand), 10.0—Zeally \ COCKCROW, 9.0 ■ x 4.102. ■
