COMPANIONS SWIM TO SHORE
CAPSIZE OF OVERLOADED
DINGHY.
WHAKATANE HEADS FATALITY.

WHAKATANE, this day.
A native named William Simon, aged 27, was drowned yesterday at Wliakatanc Heads. His dinghy, which was overloaded with mussels, capsized, and he sank almost immediately, being unable to swim. Two companions, who were also in the dinghy, swam to the shore in an exhausted condition. The body, has not yet been recovered. ,
