ELECTRIC CHICKEN-RAISING.
Electricity is playing an ever more important part at the poultry farms. Millions of chicks which have never known a mother are growing up in the warmth from electric light or radiator bulbs. Electric fans keep a warm current of freeh air playing about them. Electric light is used to make a longer day for their growth, and on a few farms electricity heats the incubators.
