Business on the local Stock Exchange Las been quiet over the last 24 hours, with values still unsettled. Thus Nationals or. Australasia are firmer, with buyers at * 14, while Unions are easier, with ilO W me best offer. At this mornings call an inquiry was made for Commercial ot Sydney, the bidder offering £20Auckland Gas and Devonport Steams were both a shade weaker, with buyers at £1 4/and £1 4/3 respectively. Hayward's Pictures were offered 3d cheaper at 12/6.
