MINISTER INDUCTED.
The induction of the Rev. T. H. Burton, 8.A., of Hikurangi, into the charge of the congregation of the parish of Otorohanga took place last night in the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. W. Butterworth, interim moderator, of Te Awamu'tu, officiating. The Rev. Mr. Haslop, of Hamilton East, preached the sermon. The Rev. D. H. Hay, of Matangi, gave the Waikato Presbytery charge to the new minister, and the Rev. E. R. E. Ross, of Te Kuiti, gave the address to the con-"■re<>-ation. Other speakers were the Rev. J. Treharne Phillips, vicar of OtoroSister Rita, Methodist minister at °Otorohanga; Mr. J. Budge, senior elder; Mr. R. Bell, elder; Miss Langkilde, leader of the Bible Class; and Mr. T. H. Pcrrott superintendent of the Sunday School.' Mr. Burton replied on behalf of his wife and himself.
