SYDNEY, August 7. The following are to-day'e quotations on the Sydney produce market:— Wheat.—Firmer. In bulk, 3/10%; bagged, 3/11%. Flour.—£lo 10/. Pollard and Bran.—£6 10/. Potatoes.—Tasmanian, £7 10/ to £10; Victorian, £8. Onions.—Victorian, Spanish, £5. Oats.—White and Algerian, 4/3. Maize. —4/8. Adelaide prices are: — Wheat.—3/9. Flour.—£9 10/. Bran. — £6 16/6. Pollard.—£7 5/. Oats.—Algerian, 2/9. (Received 11.30 a.m.) MELBOUENE, this day. Wheat.—No buyers. Nominally firmer, 4/1 to 4/2; flour, £11 to £11 5/; bran and pollard, £6 15/; oats, 3/2 per bushel; barley, English, 3/4 to 3/6; maize, 5/6.
MELBOURNE HIDES. MELBOURNE, August 7. At the Melbourne hides 6ale to-day inferior parcels declined /4d. Others were unchanged. CALCUTTA LINSEED MARKET. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated August 6, from Landale and OJark, Ltd., Calcutta, with reference to the linseed market:—"We quote £15 15/ for linseed per ton c and f Sydney for immediate shipment. The market ie unsettled." CHICAGO WHEAT VALUES. (Keceived 10 a.m.) CHICAGO, August 7. Wheat for delivery in September is quoted at Chicago at 96% cents per bushel. For December delivery the rate is $1.02 I /i, for March $1.06%, and for May $1.09 Mr. FROZEN MEAT. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated 7th instant:—Frozen meat: The market is dull at last quotations.
TALLOW STOCKS. Tallow stocks are: 2608 barrels; imports, 943; deliveries, 1294. BRADFORD TOPS. Bradford is firm, with small business. Quotations unchanged.
