GOLDEN WEDDING.
An enjoyable evening was spent at Mrs. H. Kevey's, Richmond Avenue, Grey Lynn, on Thursday last, on the occasion of the golden wedding of 'her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Cooper, of Devonport, who were married at Middleboro'ugh, England, on July 31, 1680. A number of o-uests were present, and congratulations and the usual toasts were given with musical honours. The tables were beautifully decorated with gold, and two golden bouquets were presented to Mrs. Cooper, and at the end oif the streamers were tied 'half sovereigns. The hostess, Mrs. H. Kevey, received guests wearing a frock of peach satin. Mrs. J. Cooper wore black crepe de chine. Mrs. A. Elliott, of Hamilton, wore mauve satin. Mrs. J. Stewart, of Birkenhead, blue and pink satin. Among the other guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. H. Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Powell, Mesdames To-ers, Robinson, and Misses M. Kevey, C. Kevey, F. Kevey, I Wright, L. Scott, J. Coulter, E. Lang.
