WAIHI COMPANY'S RETURNS,

The following information has been cabled to the London office of the Waihi Goldmining Company, Ltd.: For the period ended July 2li, comprising 22 crushing days, 17,702 tons of ore were crushed for a result of 0006 line ounces of gold and 28,002 .fine ounces of silver. This includes 1800 tons mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 739 ounces of gold and 9370 ounces of silver. Also, there were 84 ounces of gold and -30 ounces of silver from the residues from the old Wailii mill site. No. 0 Level.—Martha lode: Driving east, the next :J3ft assays 00/ per ton. From 112 ft to 102fl: is in the Grand Junction area. IV o. 10 Level. —State reef in Grand Junction area: The next 15ft assays 21/ per ton and the next 24ft. 55/ per ton. No. 11 Level.—Empire lode: Driving east, the next 18ft assays 31/9 per ton. Driving west, the next 17ft assays 1-1/0 per ton.
