HALF BRICK AS MISSLE.
PLATE GLASS WINDOW BROKEN.
THEFT AT PAPAKURA. An unorthodox way of obtaining a .pair'of boots was tried by someone at Papakura early this morning. A half-brick was thrown through a plate glass window of a boot and shoe shop in the Stanley Buildings, and a hole about a foot square was the result. The window, about 9ft by sft, was cracked in half a dozen places'. Only one pair of boots" disappeared,, but it was the best pair in , the display, and the occupier' of. the shop, Mr. V. Hardwick, valued them at £2.
