WEED KILLING SPECIFIC.

The .great care needed in the use of sodium chlorate in -weed killing ,• was emphasised at a meeting of the'Opotiki Borough Council last evening hy Mr. Budd.. . The speaker said that when the chemical dried it became very inflammable and, almost; explosive. If spilt on clothes the latter remained highly inflammable, and were a source of danger to the wearer. Sodium chlorate has lately come before the'public of the Dominion as a successful'means of killing the deadly, ragwort.
