GENEROUS GIFT BY MT. EDEN.
A CUP FOR BOYS' TEAMS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Wednesday. Tie Mount Eden Hockey Club has generously donated a cup for competition among the boys' teams affiliated to the Thames-Hauraki Association. Tlougl the cup was entirely at the disposal of the Thames-Hauraki Association, the Mount Eden Club suggested that a suitable match, however, might be arranged between the Thames High School and the Hamilton High School. The club also suggested that it should bring down the junior team on August 23 to play for the Gage Brown trophy, and also to send down a senior team to play the Thames-Hauraki senior team. It is quite probable that the local association may accept these dates.
TE AROHA Y. MORRINSYILLE.
The following teams will represent the Te Aroha Hockey Club against Morrinsville on Saturday next: — Ladies.—P. Alcock, Farrelly, Goldsbury, Sutherland, Stewart, Emett, Forrest, Mc-' Enteer <2), and Ward. Men.—Harvey (3), Jefferson, Mills, Hawkin. Cleave, Luxton, Goldsbury, Pearson, Godkin and Edmonds.
