(By Telegraph. —Press Association.)'
CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday.
The Canterbury Rugby Union passed a resolution last evening that the New Zealand Union should be asked if it cannot see its way clear to arrange for an lnterIsland game to be played in Christchurch this year. It was suggested that the teams should be comprised of players who have not been included in this season s New Zealand teams, with a view to giving these players a chance to show themselves and to give the selectors an idea of their ability in view of the visit of iin Australian team next season.
