F. LOOMB'S YOUNGSTERS.
A DESCENDANT OF TORTULLA,
Among the yearlings in F. Loomb'a stable are Bafoscope, a colt by Weathervane from Tortrix, by Martian from Tortulla, winner of the New Zealand Cup; Kingsway, a gelding by Little England from Ruth, a half-brother to Roman Abbey; Illuminelli, a filly bv Illumination from Finelli, and Princess Bede, a filly by Catmint from Lady Bede. These youngsters sprinted down the straight at Te Awamutu on Tuesday and all hit out freely. Baroscope and Kingsway are both solidly built juveniles who should do well when raced next season. The filly from 'Finelli is inclined to be on the small side, and may take a little time.
