GOOD SALE OF FRIESIANS.
MR. T. R. EADE'S HERD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, this day. A clearing sale of Mr. T. R. Eade's plantation Friesians proved successful. A hundred and twenty-two head were offered, and all sold. Top prices were: 105 guineas for the principal herd sire, bought for Victoria, and 65 guineas for the herd dam. The average price was about £30. Several purchases were made for northern buyers.
