WAKEFIELD RETIRES.
ENGLISH CAPTAIN'S DECISION".
LONDON, July 23,
The Rugby footballer, W. W. Wakefield, who was to have captained the team at present in New Zealand, hut withdrew on account of an injury announces his definite retirement. Wakefield captained the English internationa team against New Zealand in 1924.
