BOWLING.
PAPAKURA BOWLING CLUB
A general meeting of the Fapakura Bowling Club was held at Pnpakura yesterday, Mr. S. D. Rice presiding. It was announced that Mr. of Mamirewa. was presenting a silver cup for competition among the Manukau district clubs. The club decided to remain affiliated with the Northern Waikato Bowling Association. It was also decided to apply to the Auckland Centre of the Dominion Bowling Association for several dates on which to hold mid-week one-day tournaments.
Several members said they would present seats to the club ; 16 were promised.
