OIL COMPANIES.
"We are still awaiting advice from our head office at Wellington," said the manager of one of the biggest oil companies in Auckland when asked if he could give any definite information as to the extent the icreased tariff would affecet motorists. "In the meantime we are delivering our spirit at the old prices."
The manager of another company gave a similar reply.
