RECONSTRUCTION.

PALMERSTON N, Wednesday
An • extraordinary meeting held this morning of representatives of the dairy companies interested in the National Dairy Association took the foraial action necessary for the liquidation of the association and the reconstruction as a limited liability company. \
The chairman, Mr. A. Morton, said the object of the meeting was to confirm the resolution passed at Hamilton to the effect that it was expedient for the share capital of the association to be taken over by a new company, to be known as \ the National Dairy Association of New Zealand, Limited; that the existing association be wound up' voluntarily; and that the assets be transferred to the new company in the form of share capital. A resolution was passed confirming the motion passed at Hamilton. The committee appointed at Hamilton recommended that a sub-committee *f the executive be appointed , to cond/ ft activities other than commercial trading, and that a part-time secretary be Appointed. This was agreed to, it being explained that the object of the resolution was that the committee should devote its activities to a particular class of work, principally the remits carried at the annual conference.
