STOLE CLOTHES.
IN ORDER TO GET JOB,
"This man was out of work and was going to apply for a job. He was fooking shabby and stole some garments to apply , for the position," said Chief Detective Hammond in the Police Corn this morning when Edward Henry Leedham Quintal admitted stealing an overcoat, valued at 30/, and a pullover valued at 11/6, the property of A. Donal<Mr. Hammond said accused had said he would return the garments, but he did not. They had since been recovered. Qjintal was at present serving a sentence of three months. i Accused was convicted and discharged by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.
