NOT A TRADE MAKER.
NEW ZEALAND CHEESE
The, consumption of cheese is very poor, wrote the Anglo-Continental Produce Co., Ltd., London, on June 4, and this is entirely owing to the quality of the New Zealandcheese that has come to hand during the past two or; three months.. "Eighty per , cent of the cheese arriving hag not been what we call a trade maker, but rather a trade breaker, and a big portion of the demand has gone. from the whole cheese to the fancy, article. There is something in the chemistry of the New Zealand standardised chteese that does not give the satisfaction that the full cream I cheese does, but with its fat contents, if the other difficulties can be remedied, we cannot see why' it should be impossible to make a good standardised cheese."
