ROTORUA DANCE.
Coloured balloons, Japanese lanterns, . bunting, and streamers of lycopodium made attractive decorations on Friday evening, when the annual ball of the Rotorua Post and Telegraph staff was held at the Majestic Ballroom. The supper room decorations were ferns and cherry' blossom, while the tables were arranged with golden popples. A progressive five hundred tournament was supervised by Mr. Pennington. Mrs. 11. E. Winslade and Mr. J. Libeau were the prize:winners, and Miss Whitburn and Mr. Baker won the consolation prize. The ladies of the committee were Miss Wylie, Miss Islierwood, and Miss Harrison.
