GOLDEN WEDDING.
The Domain Kiosk was brilliantly decorated in gold tissue streamer? and a dome of cyclamen and wistaria, with long strands of greenery, for the golden wedding dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. J. Penman, of Bond Street, Stanley Bay, last evening. The proceedings opened by the singing of the Doxology by the'guests. Musical and vocal items were rendered by Mrs. C. Brown, Misses Nellie Penman, Jean Penman, Macintosh and Messrs. Andrew Thomson, Jack Rcmvick, D. Barry and Archie Penman. The hostess, Mrs. Penman, wore a black corded silk, with small hat, and carried a bouquet of violets. Among those present wwere:—Mesdames David Penman, wearing black georgette; Archibald Penman, figured chiffon; Robert Penman, black- ring 'velvet; William Penman, navy blue satin;, Kinnear Penman, floral silk; J. Penman,, ciel blue lace; D. Permian, beige georgette and lace; George Penman, wool crepe de chine; i David Penman, black charmelinc; Archie Penman, powder blue marocain; Jim Penman, heliotrope cloth; J. Macintosh, floral velvet; J. Remvick, brown georgette; A. McMillan, black marocain and lace; A. Thomson, black satin; T. Ching, floral ninon; D. Barry, peach' crepe do chine; Alex. Page, grey tweed; Leinan, black crepe de chine and georgette; R. Nicholson, grey georgette and lace godets; James Green, floral georgette; D. Thomson, navy blue crepe de chine; A. Pearson, moonlight blue crepe do.soie; Faweett, fawn marocain; Missed J. Penman, cherry georgette; Nell Penman, blue georgette; Jean Penman, darkbrown frock; A. Barry, pink georgette; Macintosh, black crepe do chine.
