It was officially reported to-day that ' the condition of Sir Joseph Ward is i weaker. * •Sir Joseph, who resigned office as * Prime Minister on May 15, became ill two days ltaer, and his condition was ( such that all members of his family were ' summoned to his bedside. After many anxious days his condition improved, and < on June 9 he left for Wellington to take f up his residence there, close to Parlia- ] ment Buildings. • j
