BUSHMAN'S DEATH.
INQUEST HELD AT EOTORTJA. INTERNAL HEMORRHAGE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) i ROTORUA, this day. An inquest was held in the Magistrate's Court this morning before Mr. W. L. Richards, J.P., acting-coroner, and a jury, comprising Messrs. E. T. Johnston (foreman), George Haymes, William Groom and George Laage, on the body of Athelstan Angell, who was killed in the bush at Mokai. William Rawer identified the body. Dr. Thompson, of the King George V. Hospital, deposed that the cause of death was internal hemorrhage, from the effect of a severe blow. Deceased was conscious when admitted to hospital, and he said the accident happened through something slipping. A verdict was returned m accordance with the medical testimony.
