The Foresters' Hall, in the new building in Albert Street, was taxed to its utmost capacity. The usual toast to the visitors was given; also the officers on their election. Upon the conclusion of the business a dance was held. Sister Leece supplied the music. Supper was provided. During the afternoon much amusement was caused in guessing the book competition, V and songs were given by Miss Gilmore, and piano solo by Miss Rountree. The prize-winners for the competition were ' Sirs. Clarkson, Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. ■ '• Levien.

A party of Auckland artists gave an entertainment, which was followed by a dance, on Saturday at Hinemoa Hall, Parakai. There was a large attendance,and the fund raised ie to be handed the Rev.
