'i m COMPLAINT AGAINST ASSOCIATION. MANUKAU COUNCIL'S DECISION". "This is purely a matter for the Auckland Automobile Association," said Mr. P. M. Waters, chairman of the Mamikau County Council, at a meeting bf tho council this morning, referring to a request from the Piako County Council for support in its complaint that the association was encouraging motorists in exceeding the s>peed limit. The Auckland Automobile Association, said Mr. Waters, had been accused of supplying free legal advice to motorists who had been charged with speeding on roads in country districts. "The secretary of the association has denied the charge," said Mr. S. Rickards. He moved that no action he taken in tho matter. , "I think you must all be motorists," remarked the chairman, when the motion was carried unanimously.
